Cardiovascular Credentialing International extends computer-based testing relationship with Pearson VUE

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, July 23, 2018 – Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), the global leader in credentialing cardiovascular technology professionals, and Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based testing, announced today the extension of its relationship into the next decade.

CCI, an independent not-for-profit organization, leverages Pearson VUE’s global network of test centers to deliver its examinations in different cardiovascular specialty areas, which includes the Registered Cardiac Sonographer and Certified Cardiographic Technician examinations.

“Pearson VUE supports our goals in many ways. Our expectations are high, and those expectations include standardization of process and experience that supports our candidates, our staff, and our American National Standards Institute accreditation,” said Jerel Noel, executive director at CCI. “Their standards are equally high, and we benefit from the diligence and responsiveness provided by the Pearson VUE team.”

“CCI and their leadership have been first-rate partners, doing critical work with an uncompromising commitment to excellence,” said Bob Whelan, president of Pearson Assessments. “We are honored to be part of their history of growth and established success, and we’re equally excited to provide our continued support in achieving CCI’s future goals - especially as they are celebrating their 50th anniversary year.”
