Pearson VUE acquires minority stake in Brazilian computer-based testing company, Prepona

Pearson VUE has completed its minority stake investment of a Brazilian computer-based testing company, Prepona advancing its strategy of continued global growth and increasing its South American market presence.

Prepona is a leading computer-based testing/test delivery software provider in South America; providing exam development and exam delivery services via test centers, remote proctoring, and mobile testing through their ‘myTest’ app.

The minority stake acquisition aims to create new opportunities in market and the sharing of best practices and market insights. While Prepona and Pearson VUE will continue to operate independently, with no changes to either company’s day-to-day operations or management, this partnership marks an important step for Pearson VUE’s presence in the South American market.
