Certificate level objective tests have 35 questions per subject.

Professional Qualification objective tests have 40 questions per subject.

The number of questions in a case study exam will vary slightly in each version of the exam but the two tutorials represent the length of a full case study exam. A landing page will appear at the beginning of each case study/Gateway exam that will clearly indicate how many sections will be in the exam and the timings for each section.

Each objective test question tutorial consists of a representative sample of questions covering different syllabus areas and question types across different levels of difficulty. To help support your learning we have included some new features for question tutorials.

New features include:

  • The 'Explain Answer' exhibit – for each question you will have the opportunity to see the rationale for the correct answer.
  • Enhanced item review screen – not only will you be able to flag questions to review, you will be able to see which questions you answered correctly, incorrectly or have not attempted at all.

These features will not appear in the live exam. To see which features will be available in the live exams please visit our exam tutorial.

Please note that our question tutorials are not designed to be taken under timed exam conditions. They do not represent the same structure or standard as the live exams. Therefore they cannot be used as a ‘mock exam’ to accurately predict future performance in the real exam.

The case study tutorials illustrate the key features of the live case study exams and demonstrate the format and presentation of different question types. They are designed to help you understand how to navigate through the exam and practice how to create a response to different question types.

There is only one version of each objective test question tutorial available per subject.

For Professional level, there are two sample versions of the case study tutorials per level.
