Is the test scored?
Yes, the tests are scored. A score report will appear at the end of the test each time you take it.
How long do I have to start the test?
Once you purchase your online exam, you must complete it within seven (7) days. If you do not complete the exam within the approved window, it will expire and you will not be refunded the cost of the exam. Once the test is started, you will have a defined period of time to answer the questions on the test. Exams may have different time limits; therefore, this information is provided to you during the purchasing process.
Can I also have an accommodation for an online test?
Since the self administered tests are taken online instead of in a Pearson VUE Test Center, extra time is not needed. You can stop the exam at anytime during the exam session by closing your browser. This will stop the clock and you can resume the exam when you are ready as long as it is within the timeframe allotted and the exam time has not completed.
Do I need different web account for my online exam and my certification exam?
You should use the same web account for exams taken online and exams taken at Pearson VUE Test Centers.
How do I know which exams are available online and which are proctored and must be taken at a Pearson VUE test center?
NS0-172 FlexPod Sales is the only NetApp non-proctored online exam.
Do I need to create a profile in advance of taking the exam?
If you already have a Pearson VUE web account for the NetApp program please use that one.
If you do not have a Pearson VUE web account, we recommend you create a profile at least 2 days prior to when you would like to take your online exam. Creating your account in advance of taking the exam will help reduce delays.

I purchased an exam but am not ready to take it. Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel the exam and receive a refund as long as (a) you have not started it and (b) the delivery period has not expired. Follow these steps:
How do I start my online exam?
After you have purchased your online exam, you will be presented with a "Begin exam" button. Once you press the button, your exam session will start.
Can I stop the exam after it is started and come back later to finish it?
Yes. The exam clock will stop by closing the web browser. You can resume your exam as long as it is within the delivery period and the exam time has not expired.
