Security Awareness and Culture Professional (SACP)™
Coordinated through Professional Testing (PTI).
H Layer credentialing certifies professionals who work as security awareness leaders. The foundational certification is the Security Awareness and Culture Professional (SACP) credential. In essence, these professionals are responsible for creating and maintaining a human layer of cybersecurity.
The SACP certification validates and gives confidence to both Industry professionals and the clients they serve. Members of the public and users of security awareness programs can be confident that SACP professionals are knowledgeable of all facets of security awareness programs and maintain the highest professional standards.
Application information
Before scheduling an exam appointment, you must have completed the online application, paid the designated fee, and received an authorization-to-test email from The HLayer. For additional information, visit the The HLayer website or contact the certification team at certification@thehlayer.com.
Scheduling your exam
Once you have received an Authorization-to-Test email, you may schedule your exam appointment. This email will inform you of the date range you may take the exam and your exam module, and it will provide you with a 20 character candidate ID (PTI ID) number. You must schedule your own exam appointment. Exam appointments may be made up to one business day in advance. Locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To schedule, reschedule or cancel your exam appointment:
Online, you must first create a Pearson VUE web account. When creating the account, use the same name, phone number and email address that you provided to The HLayer in your application. It will also be necessary to enter your 20 character candidate number (PTI ID) during the account creation process. For any issues with your online Pearson VUE account, the quickest way to reach a customer service agent is via ONLINE CHAT.
Via phone, contact Pearson VUE customer service and be ready to provide them with your 20 character candidate number (PTI ID) as noted in your authorization-to-test email.
After scheduling your exam appointment, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email listing your exam date and time, the test center address, along with important policies for your review and information. Confirmation emails are sent for every schedule, reschedule and cancellation of exam appointments. If you do not receive a confirmation email, verify the status of your exam appointment online or via phone as described above.
