  1. During the COVID-19 emergency, Colorado insurance licenses including resident and non-resident producers and resident and non-resident insurance agencies allowed to conduct insurance business in Colorado, WILL NOT expire for any reasons, including not meeting continuing education requirements, not meeting registration deadlines or lack of payment. This emergency license continuation will remain in place until removed by the Commissioner of Insurance. The Commissioner will give licensees and registrants 60 days’ notice before removing the continuation, which will afford licensees and registrants additional time to bring their licenses into compliance.
  2. This exemption from expiration will apply to all insurance producer licensees for all lines of insurance, including public adjusters, and registrants such as all current cash-bonding agents and professional cash-bail agents.
  3. Any proctoring requirements for continuing education exams are removed during the extent of the COVID-19 emergency.
