On test day

STEP 1. Do any last-minute prep

Be sure your computer and internet pass the pre-exam system test. Clear your desk/workspace of prohibited items and prep your equipment. Get your ID ready to present. Review our Exam rules / testing advice for specifics.

STEP 2. Check in

You can begin the check-in process up to 30 minutes before to 15 minutes after your appointment time.  

STEP 3. Start your exam

While testing, it’s best to focus on the questions and not get distracted. Observe all the environmental and behavioral rules. If you need help during your exam, use the chat icon to request assistance.

OnVUE - Important Candidate Information for exams taken online and not at a Pearson testing center.

  • Candidates taking an online exam in Spanish should be aware that the Greeter and Proctor support is in English only. Candidates will need to be fully prepared for the exam requirements in advance to ensure a positive testing experience.
  • Effective 5/22/2022 sales/broker candidates will be required to photograph the front and back of their Pre-licensure Education Completion Certificate or their Florida Bar card during the check-in process. We recommend using a mobile device for this. Failure to present valid documentation during check-in will result in you not being able to test. You will have to pay a new test fee to reschedule.
  • Use of pen and paper during the exam is not allowed – candidates should familiarize themselves with the Whiteboard function and use that in the exam. Use of pen/paper will cause your exam to be revoked.
  • Use of Calculators is not allowed – candidates should use the calculator function built into the exam. Use of external calculators will cause your exam to be revoked.

  • Los candidatos que toman un examen en línea en español deben tener en cuenta que el apoyo de Procurador y Encargado de dar la bienvenida es solamente en inglés. Los candidatos deberán estar completamente preparados para los requisitos del examen con anticipación para garantizar una experiencia de prueba positiva.
  • A partir de mayo 22, 2022, se requerirá que los candidatos que van a tomar el examen de vendedor o corredores de bienes raíces fotografíen el frente y la parte posterior de su certificado de curso de pre-licencia o de su tarjeta florida bar durante el proceso de registro (check-in). Recomendamos usar un teléfono móvil para esto. Si no presenta documentación válida durante el proceso de registro (check-in), no podrá realizar el examen. Tendrá que obtener una nueva cita y pagar de nuevo por el examen.
  • No se permite el uso de lápiz y papel durante el examen: los candidatos deben familiarizarse con la función pizarra (whiteboard) y usarla en el examen. El uso de lápiz y papel hará que su examen sea revocado.
  • No se permite el uso de calculadoras: los candidatos deben utilizar la función de calculadora integrada en el examen. El uso de calculadoras externas hará que su examen sea revocado.
