The mission of the IAB Certification program is to ensure that digital advertising professionals are prepared to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving interactive media marketplace. The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has created these certifications as part of its on-going role in creating standards for the digital world.
Digital Advertising Foundations Certification
The DAFC examination is intended for new digital media/advertising professionals.
Digital Ad Operations Certification
The DAOC examination is for professionals involved in digital ad operations.
Digital Data Solutions Certification
The DDSC examination is for professionals with data analytics and/or data management experience.
Digital Media Sales Certification
The DMSC examination is intended for digital media sales professionals.
Digital Media Buying and Planning Certification
The DBPC examination is for digital media buyers and planners.

Scheduling for a computer-based exam
Your authorization-to-test email will tell you the first and last dates you may take the exam. It is up to you to make an appointment to take the exam in that timeframe. Exam appointments may be made up to one business day in advance. Locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
When scheduling your exam, you will need your IAB candidate ID number from the authorization-to-test email sent to you upon completion of the application process.

After you schedule your test, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation letter listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.
