Get certified from your home or office
Take your exam conveniently from home through OnVUE online proctoring. A live proctor will monitor you through the webcam on your workstation to provide a secure exam experience.
Watch the short video on the online proctoring page to see how convenient it is to test from home. Be sure to run a system test and review technical requirements along with policies and procedures via the “Additional information” drop downs.
Scheduling your exam
Once you have received an Authorization-to-Test email, you may schedule your exam appointment. This email will inform you of the date range you may take the exam and your exam module, and it will provide you with a 20 character candidate ID (PTI ID) number. You must schedule your own exam appointment. Exam appointments may be made up to one business day in advance. Locations are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To schedule, reschedule or cancel your exam appointment online:
You must first create a Pearson VUE web account. When creating the account, use the same name, phone number and email address that you provided to IAB Certification in your application. It will also be necessary to enter your 20 character candidate number (PTI ID) during the account creation process. For any issues with your online Pearson VUE account, the quickest way to reach a customer service agent is via ONLINE CHAT.
After scheduling your exam appointment, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email listing your exam date and time, the test center address, along with important policies for your review and information. Confirmation emails are sent each time you schedule, reschedule or cancel an exam appointment. If you do not receive a confirmation email, verify the status of your exam appointment online using your Pearson VUE web account.
