Special Needs Considerations
If you have a condition which requires any special adjustments to the normal examination practice, i.e. you are sight-impaired or need wheelchair access; you must submit the Reasonable Adjustment/Special Consideration Form (RASC) to the Institute at least two months prior to the intended date of your examination. This allows the ICB to provide equal opportunities and to ensure you can complete your examination comfortably.
The RASC form should be submitted together with an up-to-date Doctor’s note, psychologists report or specialist teacher report outlining, not only your condition, but the impact that it may have on your examination.
Please call the Institute on 0845 060 2345 to request a RASC Form. If submitting a RASC form, you should not book your examination until instructed to do so by the ICB.
