Exam delivery options

You have the option to sit a number of our qualifications, including CeMAP, in person at a Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Center or online with OnVUE in the comfort and privacy of your home.

Testing online with the OnVUE system is flexible, convenient, and easy — but there are unique requirements you should be familiar with. For example, you’ll need a private, distraction-free space to take the exam. A system test will show if your computer and internet are sufficient. And you’ll be monitored by proctors and assistive AI tools during the test. Weigh your options »

We are working on delivering more qualifications remotely and will be in touch, in due course, to explain these options to you when they become available.

Students with a Reasonable Adjustment - At present, only extra time is possible within the remote invigilation system. Any student with pre-agreed reasonable adjustments, in additional to extra time, will still need to book their exam at a centre. If you would like to apply for a reasonable adjustment please contact customerservices@libf.ac.uk before booking your exam.

Important Notices

Confirmation Email

Please be aware that each time you book, reschedule or cancel an on-demand multiple choice exam with Pearson VUE, a confirmation email will be sent to you shortly afterwards via the contact email address on your student record at The London Institute of Banking & Finance. As different rules apply for session-based exams, which are sat on a specific date, you should refer to the booking information emails LIBF have sent to you or contact customerservices@libf.ac.uk for advice.

It is your responsibility to check the confirmation email from Pearson VUE.

If your confirmation email fails to arrive within one hour, or if any of the information within the email is incorrect, it is imperative that you call Pearson VUE on (0370) 6081915 without delay. Please bear in mind that consideration will not be given for booking problems where a student has failed to check their confirmation email from Pearson VUE.

Students with modular exams

Your full result will be available after your exam on your MyLIBF account. Results will be available within 24 hours, although in most instances should be showing within 3-4 hours. In some cases results may take longer than 24 hours to show, although this is rare. If your results are not showing within 72 hours please contact The London Institute of Banking and Finance.

Exam results

Your full result for your on-demand multiple choice exam will be available on your MyLIBF account. Results will be released within 24 hours, although in most instances should be showing within 3-4 hours. In some cases results may take longer than 24 hours to show, although this is rare. If your results are not showing within 72 hours please contact The London Institute of Banking and Finance.

For session-based exams, which are sat on a specific date, your results will be released within 6 weeks via your MyLIBF account. You must not change your session based exam date online.

Complaint Process for Candidates

Candidates wishing to notify us of a complaint about their testing experience should do so directly at the test centre or by calling the Pearson VUE customer service team within 24 hours of the exam being taken. Candidates should always ask the test centre or the customer service agent for a case number and quote that number in any communication about the matter. It may not be possible to investigate complaints raised more than 10 days after the exam appointment.
