Personal Licence Holder Accredited Online Learning

Personal Licence Holder Accredited Online Learning

In accordance with The Licensing Act 2003 (England & Wales) and The Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005, anyone who is responsible for the sale of alcohol must be a Personal Licence Holder and must, by law, hold a licensing qualification.

Using the latest technology, PLH Online has developed comprehensive online training courses that have been specifically designed to fully meet the statutory requirements of both Licensing Acts. The course hosts a stimulating variety of interactions, games and activities designed to appeal to all learning styles. The modules are compatible with all modern browsers, tablet devices and are mobile friendly too, meaning you can access them when and where you want.

Visit the PLH Online website to find out more about our training courses and purchase the right course for you. After completing the content of the course, you will be required to sit an invigilated exam at a Pearson VUE test centre.

If you have already completed the course:

Sign in or create an account to schedule your exam.

The examination consists of 40 multiple choice questions and you must get at least 28 out of 40 to pass (70%). On successful completion a certificate is issued by the SQA and you can then apply to your local council for your licence.
