ALERT! Nurse Aide Certification Renewal Extension
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SCDHHS is granting a Nurse Aide certification expiration extension. The new renewal deadline will now be extended to December 31, 2020. Certifications that have, or will expire, from March 13, 2020 – December 30, 2020, will be given a new certification expiration date of December 31, 2020. For example, if your certification expired on March 13, 2020 (and you have not yet renewed); or your certification is due to expire on October 1, 2020, your new certification expiration date will automatically be extended to December 31, 2020 in your PCM account, as well as, on the SC Nurse Aide Registry.
Nurse Aide Renewal Instructions
To renew your certification, log into your PCM Account and submit a ‘Nurse Aide Registry Renewal Form’ which can be found by clicking on the ‘Click here to complete the Registry Renewal form’ link on your PCM Home page. The ‘Nurse Aide Registry Renewal Form’ will be available in your PCM account 90 days prior to your December 31, 2020 expiration date; and you will receive a 60 day, as well as, a 30 day renewal reminder email prior to the December 31, 2020 expiration date. You may renew your certification as early as 90 days prior to your December 31, 2020 expiration date by logging into your PCM account and submitting your ‘Nurse Aide Registry Renewal Form.’ Questions can be directed to our Customer Service Team at: firstname.lastname@example.org

Effective August 26, 2019 score reports will be provided online and will no longer be handed out at the test center. To access your score report, please log into your PCM account.

You will create a student account in PCM then submit a form to indicate your training program completion and select the training provider.
Your provider will approve the form.
