Veeam® offers two certifications through the Pearson VUE test facilities.

Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE)

The VMCE certification is documented proof that an administer or engineer has the necessary level of expertise to protect an organization’s data with Veeam Availability Suite™.

Steps to a successful testing experience

  1. Prepare.
    As a first step, Veeam provides partners and end-users with free, entry-level online technical courses, through Propartner Portal for Veeam resellers and through Veeam University for Veeam end users.
  2. Attend.
    Attendance of a Veeam Backup & Replication v12: Configure, Manage and Recover (VMCE) training course, via a Veeam Authorized Education Center, is a requirement for all VMCE exams.
  3. Schedule.
    • Log into your Veeam account. If you do not have an account, register for one using the email you used when booking your course.
    • Go to the certification tab.
    • Select your desired exam on step 2 and click “MANAGE ... EXAM” to schedule the exam.
    • For first-time users who do not have a Pearson VUE account, you will see a “Create Pearson VUE Account” page pop up.
    • Fill in all required information.
    • Confirm that all information is accurate and make sure your name matches your identification exactly.
    • Click "Confirm and continue", which will automatically sign you into your Pearson VUE account.
    • Follow the instructions on Pearson VUE scheduling page.

Veeam Certified Architect (VMCA)

VMCA certification demonstrates that an administrator, engineer or architect has the necessary skills to design, deploy and optimize Veeam Availability Suite either in enterprise environments or in a professional services capacity.

  2. Attend.
    Attendance of a Veeam Certified Engineer – Advanced Design and Optimization training course, via a Veeam Authorized Education Center, is a requirement for all VMCA exams.

    • Log into your Veeam account. If you do not have an account, register for one using the email you used when booking your course.
    • Go to the certification tab.
    • Select your desired exam on step 2 and click “MANAGE ... EXAM” to schedule the exam.
