In response to the Coronavirus outbreak and as a precautionary measure against the spread of the outbreak, Pearson VUE is temporarily closing its China-based testing centers and suspending exam delivery through our third-party, China-based test center network effective January 27, 2020 to ensure the health and safety of testing candidates and Pearson VUE employees. At this time, our intention is for exam delivery within these locations to remain suspended through February 2020, in alignment to the guidance provided by local authorities, the World Health Organization, and others. However, we will continue to monitor the situation and act upon any new guidance provided related to the safety of our candidates and employees.
All exams originally scheduled to be taken within this timeframe have been cancelled, and candidates will either receive a refund (if paid to Pearson VUE) or extension as determined by your exam sponsor.
Testing candidates are encouraged to regularly check Pearson VUE’s website, pearsonvue.com for scheduling availability updates. Upon receiving confirmation that operations are safe to resume, we will then work to reschedule all testing candidates.
Veeam offers two certification programs through the Pearson VUE test facilities.
Veeam has retired the VMCE v9.5u3 exam and it has been replaced by the VMCE v9.5u4 exam.
You are welcome to sit the new exam.
This is Version 9.5 of the exam, matching VMCE v9.5 content.
The Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) certification is the documented proof that an engineer possesses the necessary level of expertise to correctly deploy, configure and administrate Veeam Availability Suite V9. This certification represents a great investment for an IT professional looking to increase productivity, strengthen security and control whilst reducing operating costs. This course will propel personal career advancement and achieve industry recognition.
Disclaimer: Both attendance to the VMCE classroom and success in the VMCE test through Pearson VUE test facilities are required by Veeam in order to retrieve the VMCE certificate. Sole completion of the exam is not enough. Veeam checks for each student completion of both VMCE classroom + exam before sending the instructions to retrieve the VMCE certificate.
Note: Veeam offers various certification update tracks to VMCE v9, depending on your current VMCE status. For further details please refer to the document “VMCE8 to VMCE9: upgrade rules.”
This is Version 1 of the exam, matching VMCE-A : Design & Optimization v1 content.
The Veeam® Certified Engineer – Advanced: Design and Optimization (VMCE-A: Design and Optimization V1) is a two-day technical course focused on teaching engineers how to design and optimize the "Veeam Availability Suite™" solution, following the Veeam Solutions Architects’ best practices. This class is designed for professional services consultants and system administrators who already have attended the VMCE «standard» three-day course or VODL and are aiming for the "Veeam Certified Architect" title.
Disclaimer: Both attendance to the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization classroom and success in the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization test through Pearson VUE facilities are required by Veeam in order to retrieve the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization certificate and to become designa ted as a Veeam Certified Architect. Sole completion of the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization exam is not enough. Veeam checks for each student completion of both VMCE-A: Design & Optimization classroom + exam before sending the instructions to retrieve the VMCE-A: Design & Optimization certificate.
Note: Engineers who complete both VMCE and VMCE-Advanced: Design & Optimization programs (courses + exams) will be granted with the "Veeam Certified Architect" (VMCA) title by Veeam. VMCA status doesn’t require to follow another course or pass another exam than the VMCE & VMCE-A: Design & Optimization ones.
