Steps to a Successful Testing Experience

  1. Prepare. Veritas provides certification exam preparation material including recommended training, sample exams for practice, and exam preparation guides. Please visit the Veritas certification website for more information.
  2. Select the appropriate exam for your learning path and register. The only way to register for a Veritas VCS exam currently is through the Veritas Learning Portal. Requirements for registration:
    • You must create a Customer account in the Veritas Learning Portal (even if you are a Veritas partner who already has a LearnCentral account)
    • Instructions for creating a Customer account and registering for an exam are available on the Certification website under Register for an Exam
      • If you are a partner, please use the same work email address that you use to access PartnerNet when creating your customer account so the new account can be added to your LearnCentral partner account transcript
      • For new accounts, there is a 24-48 hour wait time for your account to be approved by a Training Coordinator
  3. Read the Veritas Testing Policies about Exam Security and the Veritas Corporation Confidentiality Agreement before your exam appointment. You will be required to accept the agreement before beginning your exam.

Exam Security: Veritas and Pearson VUE continue their ongoing commitment to ensure the integrity of the Veritas certification program. You can read the Veritas Testing Policies and candidate Confidentiality Agreement before your exam appointment by visiting the Veritas Certification website. You will be required to accept the Confidentiality Agreement before beginning your exam.
