Pearson VUE supports test-takers that require a testing exception to breastfeed or express their breast milk during their exam appointment.
Nursing mothers should follow the accommodation request process in advance to make arrangements. This is an important step to ensure an appropriate space is available for you on the day of your scheduled exam. If arrangements are not requested ahead of time, any spaces available are on a first-come, first-served basis, and a suitable space may not be available. Note: Please check your test sponsor’s specific policies prior to scheduling your exam appointment.
If you prefer to breastfeed, you must do so outside of the testing facility, as children are not allowed in the test center. Check your test sponsor’s policies as some may not allow candidates to leave the test center. The Pearson VUE team will make reasonable efforts to find you a suitable space to breastfeed. This may mean a private space in the building or a privacy screen in the public lobby. Please note that this request may require that you schedule your exam at a test center that is not your preferred location.
Expressing breast milk
If you request to express breast milk, the Pearson VUE team will make reasonable efforts to find a suitable space. This may mean a private space in the building, a private space within the testing site (such as the employee break room), or a privacy screen in the public lobby. Please note that this request may require you to schedule at a test center that is not your preferred location.
