To obtain FileMaker Certified Developer credentials, you must first pass the exam that’s available through Pearson VUE test centers.

Preparing for the certification exam.
To ensure you’re ready to take the FileMaker exam, thoroughly review the following resources:

Two-year credentialing.
After you successfully pass the exam, your credentialing as a Certified Claris FileMaker Developer begins and remains valid for two years. Afterward, you must retake the FileMaker exam again and successfully pass to continue your certification.

When you pass the certification exam, you will receive a certificate from Claris. You may also begin using the FileMaker Certified Developer logo on business cards, websites, and marketing materials.
