The Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam for Engineering is the first-of-its-kind, gold standardised, psychometrically managed entrance test allowing evaluation and selection of candidates seeking to pursue an engineering degree. It combines the aptitude and knowledge of key engineering subjects to facilitate the selection of right candidates with the best mix of criteria for universities in India: i.e., convenience for candidates in selecting the right university and course and a world-class admission selection criteria for universities in terms of admission to their engineering programs. The exam elevates the candidate admissions process, taking it to a new level of automated, psychometrically evaluated exam scores.

The Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam is the gold standard in common entrance admissions tests, measuring verbal, reading, and logical reasoning skills through multiple choice questions. Pearson VUE designed the 130-minutes computer-based test for universities in India to assess candidates for admission and enrollment into undergraduate programmes.

The Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam brings the best of both worlds to candidates and universities in India: convenience for candidates and excellence in test development for universities. The exam elevates the candidate admissions process in the 2022 season.


Registering for the exam

Start your journey for your preferred exam by  registering online. When you complete the registration, you will receive a unique registration number, which you need to maintain for your applications. During the registration process, you will be able to list up to five colleges that will automatically receive your exam scores. Scheduling

Both the exams - Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam as well as Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam for Engineering will be available for scheduling from October 18, 2021 through August 28, 2022. Once you have completed the application and payment for your choice of the exam, you will be directed to the Pearson VUE scheduling page to select mode of delivery (Test center or Online) followed by the preferred date & time of your test. You must schedule your exam at least 24 hours before the desired date/time slot. We recommend that you schedule for the earliest slot available as the availability will be on first-come-first-serve basis and you may not find the desired slot if you delay scheduling.

Many universities are accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam and the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam for Engineering scores. Rescheduling Policy

You must reschedule your exam at least 48 hours before you are due to take the exam. Each reschedule will be charged at INR 500 + taxes. If you do not reschedule the exam and fail to attend it as per the scheduled date, you will be marked as a No-Show and will lose the attempt. Exam fee will not be refunded in any case.

Exam Retake Policy

Retakes will be available 15 days after your previous exam date from your Registration application login and will be charged the same fee as the main exam.
