The evolution of networking technology is driving Cisco’s redesign of our training and certification programs to prepare students, network engineers, and software developers for today’s most critical jobs.

Program Information

Age Requirements and Policies Concerning Minors

Please see Cisco’s full “Age Requirements and Policies Concerning Minors” at their Certification Exam Policies website.

The Cisco global certification program allows Minors to test on all written exams (electronically).

Minors are individuals between 13-17 years of age who, with parental or legal guardian consent, may take tests and if passed, receive certification. For any person participating in a location that requires by law a lower minimum age for entry into such programs, then the minimum age limit for that person will be the stated minimum required age. Cisco reserves the right to impose additional restrictions to comply with local data protection laws.

If a candidate would like the exam results to count towards certification the Cisco Certification and Confidentiality Agreement must be signed by the parent or legal guardian of the minor and emailed or mailed to Cisco. For more information, please refer to the Cisco Certification and Confidentiality Agreement.

Specialized Partner

The Cisco Channel Partner Program integrates the technology focus of each Cisco Partner Specialization with flexible individual career certification requirements, customer satisfaction targets, and pre- and post-sales support capabilities.

Account Manager

Cisco Account Manager exams verify the knowledge and skills of account managers and sales professionals who position Cisco solutions to their customers. Specific Cisco Account Manager exams are required for individuals interested in obtaining a Cisco Sales Expert designation or fulfilling sales oriented job roles within Cisco Partner Specializations.

Networking Academy

Cisco Networking Academy is a bridge to empower learning opportunities for people around the world. With program enhancements and the introduction of badging, students will have additional methods to demonstrate achievements. Updated CCNA and CCNP courses, assessments, and tools will be available in English by November 2019; additional languages will follow the first half of 2020.

Through this transition we are here to help all of our Networking Academy partners, instructors, and students. To stay updated on all the changes visit

Networking Academy Vouchers and Promotion Codes

If you are new to testing with Pearson VUE, please make sure to have your Networking Academy ID and Networking Academy username available when you register for your exam. Your voucher or promotion code will not work without these two pieces of information.

If you have tested with Pearson VUE before, please contact customer service in your region or an authorized test center before continuing so that your profile is updated with your Networking Academy ID and Networking Academy username.

Cisco requires this information from all Networking Academy students in order for their test results to count toward certification. If you have questions, please refer to the email instructions you received from the Cisco Networking Academy.
