Scheduling a certification exam
You can take certification exams at a Pearson VUE® Authorized Testing Center. In addition all CyberArk exams are available via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring, which allows you to take any exam from almost any location and at any time. Level 1: Trustee (Free)
The CyberArk Trustee certification is designed for anyone who is interested in learning about Privileged Access Security (PAS). It is highly recommended for any professional who will be part of a CyberArk project: Project Managers, IT personnel, Network Engineers, etc. Completion of the exam is required for participation in other CyberArk training courses.
Level 2: Defender (Via Pearson VUE)
This certification provides the practical knowledge and technical skills to maintain day-to-day operations and support the on-going performance of the CyberArk Privileged Access Security Solution.
Level 3: Sentry (Via Pearson VUE)
This certification track provides participants with the tools to deploy, install, and configure the CyberArk Privileged Access Security Solution.
Level 4: Guardian
Recipients of this certification have proven their advanced skills with the various CyberArk solutions and their ability to combine organizational architecture with privileged access security strategy.
The certification will cover knowledge around CPM capacity and sizing, Syslog redundancy, architecture, use cases, least privilege concepts and cloud architecture.

The CyberArk Channel Certification Program complements the new CyberArk Certification Program by providing content and experience that is available only to our channels.
CyberArk Certified Sales Professional (CSP) and CyberArk Certified Pre-Sales Engineer (CPE)

CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) Exam (Defender + Sentry Certification)
CyberArk Channel Partners can take a back to back proctored exam that will include the Defender Exam followed by the Sentry Exam.
By passing the exam channel partners can continue in their CDE certification path.

CyberArk CDE Recertification
The CyberArk CDE certification is valid for 18 months. Certified Delivery Engineers will get automatic notifications 6 months and 3 months before their certification is expired.
To get re-certified, CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineers should pass the CAU305: CyberArk CDE Recertification exam.

NEW - CyberArk EPM Certification Exam
We now offer a new certification exam – CyberArk EPM Certification Exam (CAU401).
This certification provides the practical knowledge and technical skills to rollout and maintain day-to-day operations and support the on-going performance of the CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager Solution. The exam is 40 multiple-choice questions. You have 90 minutes to complete the exam. Passing score: 70%
In preparation for the CyberArk Defender Certification it is highly recommended candidates take the course Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) Fundamentals.

CyberArk Privileged Access Security Administration
Relevant Certification: Defender (Level 2)
Duration: 4 Days
The CyberArk Privileged Access Security (PAS) Administration course covers CyberArk’s core PAS Solution: Enterprise Password Vault (EPV), Privileged Session Management (PSM) solutions, and Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA). CyberArk administrators, or ‘Vault Admins’, gain extensive hands-on experience in administering the core PAS Solution using our step-by-step exercise guide and dedicated lab environment.
CyberArk Privileged Access Install and Configure
Relevant Certification: Sentry (Level 3)
Duration: 4 Days
The training provides the practical knowledge and technical skills to securely design, install, and configure the CyberArk Privileged Access Security Solution. The student will gain valuable hands-on experience installing CyberArk components, configuring Authentication Types, and System Integrations (SIEM, SMTP, SNMP), using our step-by-step exercise guide, official product documentation and a dedicated lab environment.
CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Manager (EPM) Fundamentals
Relevant Certification: CyberArk EPM Certification Exam
Duration: 2 Days
Upon completion of this course the participant will be able to: Describe the system architecture, deploy and upgrade the EPM Agent, create new application control and privilege management policies, configure threat detection and ransomware protection, perform daily operation and maintenance tasks

Who Owns Your Certification?
Regardless of who pays for the exam, you, the exam candidate, own the results. Your exam history is linked to your Certified Professional ID number granted the first time you create a Pearson VUE account. You should never create another one. If you change employers, you should contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will assist you in moving your records to your new account associated with your new employer.
Exam Retake Policy
If you do not pass an exam on your first attempt, you may retake the exam after 5 days. If you do not pass an exam on your second attempt, you must wait at least 30 days between each additional attempt. You are allowed a maximum of three attempts in a 12-month period.
Once candidates are seated for an exam in a Pearson VUE Testing Center, they will be given 5 minutes to read and sign CyberArk’s examination Non-Disclosure Agreement. Signing the NDA is required for candidates to proceed with the exam. Candidates who decline, or do not ‘agree’, within the 5 minutes given will be excused from the exam room and all examination fees will be forfeited.
