ServSafe® Certification Testing

The ServSafe Food Safety Training program leads the way in providing current and comprehensive educational materials to the restaurant industry. More than 10 million foodservice professionals have been certified through the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam, which is accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) under the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) standard. ServSafe training and certification is recognized by more federal, state, and local jurisdictions than any other foodservice safety certification.

Certifications

The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese. The exam consists of 80 questions and 10 pilot questions, will take approximately 2 hours to complete and requires a passing score of 75.

Test Use Agreement

You will be required to affirm that you have read and accept the terms of the National Restaurant Association (ServSafe) Test Use Agreements onscreen before you are able to take the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam. Please take a moment to review the terms of Test Use Agreement. If you choose not to accept these terms, you will not be allowed to take your exam.

Scheduling

Please recognize National Restaurant Association (NRA) as the client when registering. When creating your Pearson VUE web account, you will be asked to provide your NRA ID.

BE SURE OF YOUR EXAM DATE WHEN SCHEDULING

If you wish to cancel your exam, you must contact Pearson VUE 24 hours prior to your exam appointment. Canceling or rescheduling an exam less than 24 hours prior to the exam appointment is not permitted. Not appearing for your exam appointment will result in the forfeit of all exam fees.
